"Erasing ideogram" is an abstract acrylic painting by Walter Perdan. The painting is linked to a series of works created on paper with the technique of watercolor and black ink. The idea is to create an ideogram - a form that can have an underlying meaning - and at the same time destroy it with the black mark of the brush: it became itself another ideogram. A research that develops around the value of the artist's sign and the meaning that can be given to it. The sign is situated in an abstract region at the limits of definition and indefinite, where everything can happen and things can have a completely different fold.
