Le Vergini It is a landscape acrylic painting that represents the peaks called "Le Vergini" in the Jof Fuart group in the Italian Julian Alps. The particularity of these three peaks is given by a conformation of the rock that is called "the kiss of the Virgin". This mountain has always fascinated me, and having worked in the shelter nearby for a long time, it had become a family landscape. The painting wants to portray the mountain in a dream state, almost as if the mountain had a soul, a feminine soul. The artwork is realized with acrylic color with an expressionist way. Expressionism played an important role in my formation and was an important step for my artistic development. As i grow up in Trieste, in the past the city culture was influenced more by austrian intelectuals and artists, like Klimt, Schiele, Kokoschka, than french culture as impressionist painters like Monet , Renoir, and other. Visit also my other landscape painting Tramonto This is not an acryilic painting but i used instead the oil technique.
